The month of Virgo ( Elul),
In Kabbalah we have cycles of cosmic openings throughout the year , each month we have the renew of energy in the moment we enter the New Moon! At the sunset of August 10 we entered the month of Virgo, called Elul in Kabbalah. This injection of the new Moon energy finishes on the sunset of August 12. It’s as if the gates of the universe are opened and we can recharge the batteries for the upcoming 30 days. During this 48 hours we have the control over the whole month.
This cosmic window is available for all the people from humanity and if you are reading this article now you can access this source of energy because you are conscious of this important moment.
Virgo is ruled by the planet mercury, the fastest planet, in charge of the communication. The Kabbalists tell us that if you want to know what is wrong with you, ask a virgo, they have like an x-ray and will scan you and go straight to the point. This trait needs to be used carefully because virgo can be very critical and judgmental. This is the perfect month to sweeten the judgement with ourselves and the ones around us.
If you have things that you have been procrastinating this is the month to act.
We also have the opportunity to do various things at the same time and in a more focused and organized way.
A few frailties for us to have in mind during this month : to think that if I don’t go there and do it will not be done properly, so delegate more, feed patience, the good mood and learn how to receive compliments, appreciate what you did already even if it’s not “perfect” to your standards. The moment you feel like criticizing visualize the zoom out of the situation and observe other areas of your life , don’t allow small things to impact you. See the forest instead of just giving the zoom in in a tree.
Learn to relax and to forgive the attitudes of other people , everything we see in others, either positive or negative, we only see because we also have this trait.
We call this the mirror effect. Follow the letters that rule this month , the bigger one is the letter resh in charge of Mercury and the small one yud, that rules the constellation of virgo. The visual contact with them ( from right to left – the opposite of English) can help to overcome the challenges of this month

O Mês de Virgem ( Elul),

No por do sol do dia 10 de Agosto, entramos no mês de virgem, chamado de Elul na Kabbalah. Esta lua nova vai até o por do sol do dia 12 de Agosto. É como se os portões de energia do universo se abrissem para que pudéssemos recarregar as baterias e plantar as sementes dos próximos 30 dias . Virgem é regido pelo planeta mercúrio, o planeta mais rápido, responsável por toda a comunicação . No momento que estiver muito crítico procure dar um zoom out e observe outras áreas da sua vida , não permita que pequenas coisas possam te abalar. Não deixe de ver a floresta porque você está com o zoom in em uma árvore .
Aprenda a relaxar e perdoar as atitudes das outras pessoas, tudo aquilo que reconhecemos nos outros, tanto de positivo como negativo, só enxergamos porque também existe em nós !Chamamos na Kabbalah de efeito espelho.
